Made with love.
Stitched in Kolhapur.
A 14th-century craft, three generations of cobblers, and one belief — that a pair of chappals deserves to be made by hand.
Hand-stitched, never glued.
Every Rajganga pair begins with a hide of vegetable-tanned buffalo or cow leather — tanned in pits using bark, myrobalan, and time. No chrome. No shortcuts. The leather breathes, ages, and softens to your foot.
A single artisan cuts, punches, weaves, and stitches each chappal end-to-end. The braided uppers — Kapshi, Pukari, Naral Pan — are tied without a single drop of glue. One pair takes a full day. Some take two.
Cobbler families. Not factories.
We work directly with families in Kolhapur's craft clusters — Charmakar Nagar, Shahupuri, and the lanes around Rankala. No middlemen. No mass production. The hands that stitch your order have been doing this for forty years, and their fathers before them.
When you order a lot of 25, you're paying 25 individual artisans for a day of skilled work. When you order 100, you're keeping a craft alive for another season.
Designs unchanged for centuries.
The Kapshi, with its woven double-strap; the Naral Pan, named after the coconut leaf; the Pukari, the Peshvai, the Rajeshahi — each pattern carries the village it came from. We make them the way they've always been made, in the colours buyers in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu have asked for over generations.
Built for retailers.
